Building a family of brands and resources.

Awana is an organization that creates child discipleship resources for churches and families. This 4+ year-long client relationship has created multiple websites to support Awana’s needs.

Project highlights

  • Collaborated with Awana’s creative director to define a UI library, creating a foundation for any future Awana site.

  • Developed a close working relationship with the Awana team, enabling an iterative process to determine site needs and goals for solving complex organizational problems.

  • Utilized and expanded existing branding for specific websites while maintaining core styling to ensure all Awana websites felt like a cohesive family of brands.

  • Designed learning management systems that guided users through curriculums and training modules effectively.

Brite

Brite is an online, youth ministry curriculum for churches that houses individual lessons and resources for teachers to use in their weekend services.

Basics

Awana Basics is a training module for teachers and leaders of their Awana Clubs programming. This site used and adapted the UI from the Brite website to continue to build a consistent digital experience for the Awana brand.

Clubs

Awana Clubs is Awana’s midweek youth-ministry program for churches. This offering needed it’s own, new website to better engage with this product’s specific audience; churches looking to implement the program in their ministry and parents learning more about it.
