Hey, there! I’m Brenna.
Design creates a connection point between brands and people. Figuring out how to best make that connection is where I love to operate. For over 8 years, I’ve been helping companies improve their relationships with their audiences by making their touchpoints clearer, more engaging, and more representative of who they are through foundational branding, website design, and marketing.
With my experience at creative and marketing agencies, I’ve collaborated with a variety of clients, from small non-profits to large national companies, to understand their audience, goals, values, and priorities. This enables me to create impactful, user-centric designs that are unique to each of them. Working alongside fellow strategists, writers, designers, and developers, I uncover and assess current problems to craft thoughtful and intentional design solutions. These solutions can include new logos, definitive brand guides, reorganized sitemaps, clearer site navigation and wayfinding, engaging web page designs, compelling digital and print ads, and creative social posts.
Outside of work, I enjoy life in Aurora, Illinois with my husband Mat and our two cats. In my free time, you may find me walking around the neighborhood, sitting in my sunroom with a glass of wine, knitting a scarf, rewatching Community, or enjoying pizza from my favorite local joint.

Led website strategy by assessing client sitemaps and making recommendations for improved architecture that will provide clarity in information, action steps, and navigation for users.
Collaborated with 3-4 team members including content writers, developers, and/or project managers to define the direction for a project and the specific strategy for a web particular page or experience.
Analyzed client goals through comprehensive communication, translating insights into design strategies that improve user engagement and overall client satisfaction.
Created front-end website design mockups and prototypes for 20+ clients and guided them through the intentionality behind chosen solutions.
Worked on 10+ branding projects for a variety of clients which included logo redesigns, typography and color palette selection, additional graphic assets, and guideline documentation.
